"You know Charlie's crazy about me! You think you can just copy my look to take my place?"
Jessica is loud and obnoxious, but since she doesn't know the whole story, I decide not to retaliate. Instead, I try to reason with her.
"This isn't a place for you. You should leave before Charles gets here. No one will save
you
if he finds you here."
But Jessica doesn't take my advice. She yanks my hair, fuming, "Charlie is my man! What gives you the right to kick me out? You're just scared I'll expose your little scheme to keep him for yourself!" "Today, you'll learn what happens when you try to steal my man!"
With that, she kicks me to the ground. I stumble and hit my head on a rock, feeling the blood trickle down my forehead.
Wiping the blood away, I look at the furious Jessica and say coldly, "Don't you fear what Charles will do if he finds out?"
She scoffs, "I'm the true woman he's been searching for! If I get a little scratch, he'll be up all night worrying. If he finds out, so what? Do you really think he'll blame me for a nobody like you?" Her friends laugh, chiming in, "Exactly! Mr. Davis is head over heels for Jessy. Do you think you, a wannabe, can compete with her?"
"Jessy, you know, Mr. Davis is a big deal. There are plenty of other seductresses trying to lure him in. Let's make an example of this one today!"
"Let's show all those b**es who the real Mrs. Davis is!"

I remain serious, replying coldly, "You'd better go ask Charles who I really am."
Jessica raises her chin, looking down on me. "You think a nobody like you can even make me curious about your identity? I'm the one Charlie loves, and my father's
company is the biggest partner of Davis Group. What are you compared to me?"
Her eyes harden as she turns to her friends. Tear this b**h's clothes off. Let's see if
she can make her body look as good as mine."
As they rush towards me and tear my clothes violently, I desperately try to cover myself. "Stop! I'm Charles' wife!"
Hearing my words, they all suddenly pause.
Jessica squints at me, a smirk creeping across her face. "You say you're Charlie's wife?"
I nod earnestly. "That's right. You're just a substitute. If he finds out how you're treating me, he won't let you off easily."
