I looked between them and I noticed that my aunt was trying to avoid my gaze. "Chloe?" I called, my voice coming off weaker than I intended for it to. "Just kill us already!"

"Aunty Chloe?!" I yelled louder than 2 not divert her gaze.

"Fine," she muttered, heaving a heavy sigh. "Sherlock and her, you mother, were in a relationship before she fell in love with your father, but she never loved him... she told me that everyday and she was so sorry when she found out that this fool was betrothed to me!"

"She loved me," he argued. "It wast that useless brother of yours that got her all confused and she left me for him!"

"He did it for me! He was never in love with her in the first place, he only agreed to be with her because he found out about your illicit affairs and wanted to protect me!"

Sherlock then turned an accusing glare towards me. "But they made a bastard baby, didn't they? Or did she fall from the sky?"

"Of course she did not, you cow! They fell in love and had her. You would never know what it feels like to be in love, because you do not deserve anything!"

"It is you useless brother-"

"Call my brother useless one more time and see how I destroy you!" She turned to me with a huff. "Dear, why don't you kill him already?! Hurry up and get him out of my hair!"

I blinked a couple of times, listening with keen interest to everything they said. Just like aunt Chloe, I also was fed up with Sherlock by now. He was a sick, derailed and demented wolf, who did not know fantasy from reality. I searched the corner of my waistline, pulling out the little dagger I hid there and throwing my hands back, I flung it and it stabbed him in the knee.

"Mark? Lily?" I called, they both came out of their hiding place and walked towards me. "You are allowed to stab him five times each, but make sure not to kill him," I paused, meeting his hate filled eyes with cold ones. "I would like to be the last thing he sees before he breathes his last!"

His screams filled the air, as I turned back to his horrified subjects. I flexed my hand, releasing everyone: "Fight!" And immediately, they began to rush at each other and I played dirty, doing another spell... the invisibility spell.

The enemies were left confused as our men slayed them, not being able to see where the enemy was attacking from. Marcus stood beside me, watching what was happening and when a soldier tried to hit my aunty, he stepped in the way, stopping.

I nodded my thanks, appreciating that he knew exactly what I wanted. She couldn't die now, that was not allowed! I still had a lot of questions to ask and until then, she had to stay alive!

She wasn't scared, she sat on her throne not moving an inch, as she waited... waited to die. Her actions pulled at my heartstrings, making me draw closer to tears. She was the only family I had and still, she thought she had the right to want to die like that?! Wasn't there at least one person apart from Marcus that would want to live for me?

A gentle pat on my left shoulder, brought me out of my thoughts. I turned to see Marcus looking down at me with a deep frown on his face, mixed with great concern. "Are you alright baby?"

I sighed. "I will be fine," I reply in a little voice.

He observed me for a moment, then nodded. "Every member of the pack is dead, left with those two." He gestured to where Sherlock and my aunt sat. "What do we do with them?"

I snapped my fingers and everyone became visible.

Sherlock was bleeding profusely, Marcus and Lily having done a number on him. While my aunt, well... her whole body looking tensed up like she was scared to even move a strand of hair.

I walked slowly towards Mark, taking my little dagger away from him and handed it to my aunty. She looked indecisive, looking from my face and back to the little blade a couple of times. "Go on, take it," I urged.

She slowly brought her hand forth, taking the dagger from my open palm. She turned it over a few times, assessing it like it was a new mystery toy. "What should I do with it?" Really? She wanted to play dumb?

"You can do whatever you wish," I replied, shrugging my shoulders. I moved away from her, really not knowing if it was safe to turn my back on her or she might just stab me. After all, she had killed her brother because of her hatred for my mother. What were the odds that she would not murder me at the slightest chance she got?

I thought I saw the ghost of a smile on her lips before she turned her back to us first, raining curses on Sherlock as she stabbed him in numerous places. Until finally, he ceased breathing. I was not offended as she was the one to finally end him, I guess she had also lost as much as I had. Two older brothers and an entire pack, that was good enough to let her be the one to extract the life out of him.

She turned back sluggishly, her movements like that of a zombie. "Now, I can die in peace," she replied, smiling at me with kind eyes. "Forgive me Chloe, for all the pain I caused you and your family, I hope you find happiness in your new home."

"What are you doing?!" My eyes widened, as I watched her raise the blade to her throat, tears rolling out of her eyes and mixing with the bloodstains that were splattered all over her face and clothes. "Please, put away the knife, will you?" A bitter laugh escaped her lips. "So, you still feel pity for me? After all, what have I done to you?" She shook her head at me, giving me a disapproving look. "Do not forgive Chloe so easily, everyone should take their punishments just as they should!"

And next thing, I saw a deep line of red, before my aunt's body hit the ground...
