Chloe's POV:

"Get off me, you witch!"

I sprung to my feet, doing a quick survey of my surrounding before turning to look at the red head below me. I had teleported with her all the way to Dracula's cave and it was kind of surprising that I had.

She looked around her and I had no idea about whatever she saw or heard, she suddenly looked startled. She rose to her feet, taking a few scared steps from me. "Where have you brought me, where is this place!" "Dracula's cave," I deadpanned.

She paled, her eyes widening into saucers. "Will you tell me why you brought me here of all places?"

"Would you tell me how you knew Therese?

"Just answer the damn question!" She whisper-yelled, too scared to even raise her voice higher than an ant's cough.

It felt good knowing that once more, I had the upper hand. "How do you know Therese?" I asked, taking a couple of intimidating steps towards her, while she took a few intimidating steps towards her and she took a few frightened ones back. "Do not come any closer!" Her hands shot out in front of her. "Why did you bring me here? If you wanted to kill me, you could have at least done it out there," she growled.

My patience was running thin and she was making no effort to make things easier for me, for both of us. "Look here Chloe, I could spare your life..." I lied, maintaining a stoic expression to make sure that I did not give away my true intent. "Just tell me why you dragged that witch into something that was a family affair!"

She gave me a once over, her blue eyes hardening with hate that was obviously directed at me. "To help kill you of course," she said. "I knew you were stupid but at least, not stupid enough to think that I am your only enemy?" She scoffed, "If I asked for more help, I bet I would have gotten more than a million people who would be willing to take you down. Do you know how much just seeing you reminds me of her and makes me sick in the stomach?! Just die already! Die!"

She was not wrong about me being stupid. If I was not a bofoon, I would not have let her close to me, I would have killed her at the first chance I got!

"Mention my mother one more time, and see how I squeeze the life out of you!"

She gave me a look of disbelief, then burst out laughing. "Do you really think that you scare me? I know how powerful you are, but trust me when I say I am not in awe of whatever you possess," she said spitefully, making my demon flinch at the hint of her insult. "I have poisoned myself anyways and I know I will die..."

I watched her carefully as she paused, her lips curved into an ugly sneer and a wicked glint in her eyes. Had I missed something? Maybe I was not having the upper hand, I might have underrated her.

"But after I kill you!"

A loud battle cry came from inside of the cage and before I could even understand what was happening, Chloe's body was flung off the cliff, while her head landed in front of me and rolled all the way to the bottom of my feet. I remained in shock, staring from the open eyes of the head, and down to the lifeless and headless body. We're we not just talking about a minute ago? How?...

A gruff sound came from in front of me and I slowly raised my eyes, body filled with a cold feeling of dread. Before me; stood a beast like creature with fangs that resembled that of a vampire's demon, but it's was by far longer and pointier. It had three eyes, all in line after the other, with no nose and a wide mouth that left all of its blood dropping fangs on display. It stood over two feet taller than me, its broad form doing no justice to my tiny body. It's head was bald, and it looked to take a shape of a man with a smooth pale body. The longer I stared, the more I seemed to recognize what was before me... the Vukario!

It made another gruff sound and I immediately lowered my eyes, falling to my knees as my mother had taught me when I was about seven years. It was some sort of spirit guard for every vampire and my mother had said that only a few had had the privilege of seeing them. They took different forms of beast, but mine too the dorm of a man.

It did not say a word to me and I had not heard it approached, but I felt a light pat on my back and almost like it had never happened, it was carried away with the wind.

The next time I raised my eyes, it was just empty space in front of me and as I looked around, I saw no trace of the Vukario nor my aunt's head or body. I wondered what he could have taken it for, he would have left her to- "It is his for the taking!"

I tensed up when Dracula's voice boomed from the cave and I pressed my lips together, refusing to turn around and see his annoying, unnecessarily pale face.

"She, the stupid werewolf, dared to harm an innocent and the Vukarios will never stand for that!" He came to stop in front of me, his eyes taking a sweep of my whole body and he wrinkled his nose, making some kind of face. "You got blood on you." The last of his sentence was not what had caught my attention, it was what he had said about the Vukario. "Innocent?" I asked, folding my arms across my chest. "Do you even know what you are saying?" "Yes, I do."

"Explain yourself then," I snapped.

His eyes flickered to my stomach and I suddenly felt a stir in there, but I settled it down to be the fear I always felt around his cold person. "Her threat had not been directed towards only you, that was why the Vukario had intervened." He scoffed, giving me berating look. "You think too highly of yourself Chloe, you no longer are that important... not to me," he shrugged, rolling his eyes skyward. "And obviously, also to the ones above. So you can relax, and don't be too stubborn, when I come to take what is rightful mine..."

I was going to ask what he meant, when he suddenly switched the subject and took my mind away with it. "You look appetizing with all that blood all over you, if only it weren't werewolf's blood," he muttered, his tongue flicking out of his mouth to lick his lower lip.

Ew!

A certain memory flashed through my eyes and this one was when I was a little girl and one of the many times he had stolen me away and taken to his cave. He had once offer me human blood and had convinced me that I was doing nothing wrong and it was normal. That should have been the first and very last time I took it, because I remember my body rejecting all of it and I three up all over him and the other vampires screamed how weak I was and how they could never accept me. Thinking about it made me hate him all the more and the rest of those royal cabinet members, I felt a sudden urge to wipe them all out, including the entire coven!

My grandfather's chuckle brought me out of my thoughts, and I saw that he was struggling to stifle a laughter. I gave him the stink eye, hating how he bared his immaculate whit teeth at me, his fangs hidden properly that no one would ever have suspected that he was a blood sucking demon!

"What is it, you find so funny?" I snapped, my nose flaring with anger.

"Nothing," he said, pressing his already thin lips tightly together, making them appear even thinner. "Would you mind telling me where your mother is?"

I hissed, moving him out of the way as I went to descend the cave. I had some suspicion that that witch might have suspected where I would be and would follow but since she had not, I was going over to were I had found out to be her lair and I was going to burn her to death!

"Leave my hand," I growled," my eyes glowing a bright silver as I snapped my head towards him. He had grabbed my arm and no matter how hard I tugged, he would not let let go. "What is your problem? Will you let me go or do you want me to bite your fingers off?"

"Do not get yourself mixed up in that senseless fight," he said in a warning tone. "Therese is a foolish girl and she has some sort of foolish obsession with your husband. You can let him take care of her himself, do not get yourself harmed!" I cocked an eyebrow at him. Someone pinch me so I get to wake up from such an unrealistic dream. Apart from the fact that he wanted me to ascend the throne, he also did not care so much for me and besides, he knew I would be able to handle myself. Why was he suddenly acting all sensitive and over protective towards me?

I snatched my arm out of his hold, ignoring his warnings as I charged down the cave, throwing a somersault and landing in the very spot I had seen Lima being pierced and poisoned. I heard a gasp and I turned to see Dracula staring down at me with a baffled look in his eyes. What was up with him anyway?

I took fast strides towards Witchenville and away from Dracula's cave. I knew it was going to be difficult fighting her in her kingdom, but tales had gone around since I was was a child, that witches showed no compassion for each other and that they away minded their business and had no part in playing good, only doing evil for all that they could!

Once I was sure that I was out of Dracula's sight, even if I knew not out of his mind, I into shifted into my silver wolf. She leapt in the air, making a happy sound with a wolfish grin plastered on her face as she broke into a fast run. At least, witches preferred werewolves to vampires and I knew that once they sensed that my intents were for bad and not for good, it would even delight them to lead me faster to her.

And just as I had thought, as was even welcomed more warmly than I could have imagined and the many congratulations I received from them, left me wondering if they were congratulating me because they had already sensed that I had no intentions on leaving this place with taking with me the head of Therese and throwing it at the feet of my husband. I hoped to be done with that before him and my mother have a chance to get back home. The only problem now was; Therese was not in her dirty lair and the things I saw, made me want to puke out everything I had eaten for the day, which was blood.

She also had drawings a naked Marcus plastered all over the walls and you would not blame me for how furious I was at the moment, because she got the exact size of my little friend which he carried in between his legs. How could I be so unfortunate to be mated to a a man whore, and also be created with such intense jealousy? Was the moon goddess in a fix or something, when she mated me with that oaf?! Where are you Chloe, I just saw you walk through a wall, but your white is is black!

It was Titus's voice in my head. Fuck! He had just seen my mother and that meant they were back home. Deciding to leave Therese for another time, I decided to take a short travel back home, because I had a lot of explaining to do!
