Kate slowly opened his eyes and yawned after he had that deep and peaceful sleep under the Laburnum tree near his school football field. ‘I didn’t realize when did I sleep. Seems like I’m tired’ he thought and turned the other way and found Brandon Johnson lying beside.

“Good morning! Did you sleep well” Brandon said to Kate.

“………..WAIT!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?” Kate said.

“Witnessing something which very few people have witnessed” Brandon said with a smile.

“Witnessing what?”

“Your sleeping face”

“F*CK OFF!” Kate picked up his bag and got up but he was suddenly pulled down by Brandon.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Kate said while sitting in Brandon’s lap.

“The l*p balm” Brandon said.

“Yeah, what about it?”

“You didn’t apply it today”

“YOU COULD HAVE SAID THEN EVEN NORMALLY, WHY DO YOU ALWAYS DO SUCH WEIRD STUNTS!!! WE’RE AGAIN IN A WEIRD POSITION!WHAT IF SOMEONE SEES US”

“It’s okay, we’re not visible from here”

“THAT’S NOT THE PROBLEM!!!! LEAVE ME!”

“Gimme the l*p balm first, I’m not leaving you before that”

“ARE YOU A KID?!” Kate said and took out the l*p balm from the front pocket of his bag.

“HERE! NOW LET ME GO!!”

Brandon took the l*p balm and pushed Kate down.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!” Kate shouted.

“Just applying the l*p balm” he said while he sat on Kate. He brought his face close to Kate’s face and opened the lid of the l*p balm.

“Can’t you apply it the normal way, plus, you’re super heavy, I’m gonna die!” Kate said.

“I’ll be done in a moment, just bear it till then.” Brandon said and pressed the l*p balm on Kate’s lips.

“There’re softer than before, seems like you use it regularly, don’t you?” Brandon said with a smile.

“I had to; a delinquent threatened me to” Kate said as he averted his eyes.

“Ha ha..I’m not a delinquent” Brandon said.

“Shut up, you a*s!” Kate said.

“Why do you always call me that? You like my a*s that much?” Brandon said.

“NO! YOU’RE TAKING IT THE WRONG WAY!” Kate said as he looked at Brandon.

“Finally you looked at me” Brandon said.

Kate blushed “Un……..”

“Hm? What is it, Katty?”

“Un…..I…..I HAVE TO GO NOW!” Kate said he pushed Brandon, grabbed his bag and ran inside the school building.

“…………Oh, he forgot the l*p balm……….” Brandon said to himself.

‘I WANNA KILL THAT A*S-I MEAN BRANDON JOHNSON AND THEN KILL MYSELF!!!’ Kate thought as he ran back to his class. Luckily, there was no teacher in the class so he quietly entered the class and sat down in that usual corner which was reserved for him.

Soon, Anna walked towards him and said “Hey! The teacher has asked for the form which he gave yesterday, have you brought it”

“Oh sh*t! I forgot!!” Kate said.

“And?”

“And so; I’ll give it to you tomorrow” Kate said.

Anna grabbed him by his collar “WHY DIDN’T YOU BRING IT?!!” she whisper shouted “HAVE YOU PROMISED HEAVEN TO ALWAYS EMBARRASS ME IN FRONT OF OTHERS??!!!”

“Look I’m sorry, but you didn’t remind me either” Kate said. Anna looked at his collarbone and left his collar with a smile.

“So, you’ve been fooling around, huh?” Anna said with a smile.

“What do you mean?” Kate said.

“C’mon, you’re still saying that with that hickey mark on your collarbone?” she said.

“Hickey mark??!!” Kate shouted as he touched his collarbone.

Everyone in the class turned towards him but Anna covered her mouth with her hands. Everyone just stared at them for like….10 seconds, then got engrossed in their business again.

“……….Who was it?” Anna said.

“Huh?” Kate said.

Anna grabbed Kate’s neck and whisper shouted “I WANNA STRANGLE YOU!!!! HOW DARE YOU ENJOY YOUR LIFE WHILE I’M STILL SINGLE??!!!”

“WAIT! I HAVE NO IDEA WHO-” Kate said but suddenly stopped and realized something “……..I think I know who did this…….”

“Huh? What are you saying?!” Anna said.

“EVERYONE! SIT DOWN!!” Mr. Dickson, the games teacher, said as he entered the class.

“Isn’t this supposed to be our physics class?” Kate said “Not that I’m disappointed”

“I’M HERE FOR A SURPRISE CHECK!! NOW QUICKLY PUT YOUR BAGS ON YOUR TABLES AND PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD, IF YOU WANT TO ARRANGE FOR A LAWYER, YOU MAY DO SO NOW!” He said as he snatched a girl’s bag and started searching like a hungry dog looking for food among the garbage dumps.

Hey……..I just realized, I use good similes.

‘Who cares, I just have to…………………HOLY SHIT! THAT DVD! If that old man finds it, I’m screwed for sure, what should I do??’ Kate thought.

He slowly moved his hands towards his bag but Mr. Dickson caught him.

“HEY, YOU THERE, KATE ROBERTS!!” He shouted from a corner “WHAT ARE YOU DOING??! YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO TOUCH YOUR BAG!!!”

Then Mr. Dickson moved to Kate’s seat and took his bag.

‘Good bye my happy high school life~lemme look at the crush of my life for the very last time because after that, she may think I’m gross……ELIZABETH, I’M SO SORRY!!’

Mr. Dickson slowly opened Kate’s bag’s chain, and suddenly a white cat jumped outside the bag on Mr. Dickson’s face and scratched it with her sharp nails.

“OW! OW! SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!” Mr. Dickson shouted as he tried to pull the cat away from him but she soon started scratching his hair “AAAH!!!STOP!!! YOU’RE RIPPING MY HAIR OFF!!!!”

The entire class just stood there and stared at Mr. Dickson at first and then at Kate, who was himself shocked by this HUGE discovery in his bag.

The cat looked at Kate who still looked confused. She jumped back into the bag and hid inside it. “MR. KATE ROBERTS” Mr. Dickson shouted as he looked at Kate with b***d and scratch marks all over his face.

Kate flinched and said “Sorry sir, but…..BATHROOM!” He said and ran away with his bag.

“COME BACK HERE YOU PRICK!!!!” Mr. Dickson shouted in the back ground.

“Oh shit!!! I’m surely gonna clean the toilets for 2 months after this! But how did a cat get inside my bag?!! Why a f#*king cat of all? I HATE CATS!!!” He said said as he ran through the hallways.

After 5 minutes, he reached the school backyard and finally rested there.

“Huff huff huff! I’m so done!!” Kate said as he sat on the ground. Then he opened his bag and took out the cat. The cat was half asleep as she looked at Kate she jumped on his head.

“HEY! I’M NOT YOUR PILLOW, GET DOWN!!” He said and shooed the cat away.

“Jeez, I hate cats!!!” Then he upturned his bag…………he found two things missing….”Hey wait……WHERE THE F#*K IS MY DVD AND THAT F#*KING L*P BALM??!!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE SOMEONE WOULD EVEN STEAL THAT????!!! OR MAYBE……….THE CAT ATE IT?!!!”

“UGH!!……I FEEL PATHETIC” Kate said as he emitted a purple aura.

“Hey!” said a hoarse voice. Kate looked up and found two guys standing in front of him “We’re running out of money dude, won’t you give some to us to buy lunch?” one of them said.

“………….Please not now, I’m introverting” Kate said as he looked down again.

“HUH?!! WHAT DID YOU SAY? DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM??!!” the guy said.

“Of course I know, your a beggar, that’s why you have to personally go to others and beg for money to even buy your own food supplies. You don’t even have enough money for your own survival, so pathetic!” Kate said.

“YOU B*STARD!!” The guy was about to punch Kate when someone held his hand.

“Chillax dude, it’s just a joke, not a d#*k, why take it so hard?” he said. He was tall and looked intimidating.

“……….Who are you?” the guy said.

“Just a passerby, at least till now.”

“TSK!!!YOU!!!! I’LL DEAL WITH YOU LATER!!”

Then, both the other guys left the scene grumbling to themselves.

“Are you okay, Kate?” he said.

“…..yes….thank you…Jaden Smith, was it?”

“Yes, I’m glad you remember my name” Jaden said.

“Yes, WAIT! YOU’RE IN THE SAME SCHOOL AS ME??!!”

“Yes”

“HOW COME I’VE NEVER SEEN YOU??!!”

“That’s because, I just transferred this year, let’s make it good year, Kate” he said as he held Kate’s hand “Wanna be friends?”
