Love Story2 -Chapter 1 My friend's wedding used the wedding plan I had designed.

I spent half a year planning the entire process, but Louis Wood only took a minute to reject it.

After a casual wedding ceremony, Louis promised me.

No matter how much he played around outside, I would always be Mrs. Wood.

Until today, when he brought his own mistress to attend this wedding.

As soon as we walked into the venue, all kinds of glances were immediately cast our way.

Some were watching for drama, some were gossiping, and some were sympathetic.

Only Louis maintained his usual nonchalant attitude:

"You're here."

Looking at the young girl affectionately clinging to his arm, I nodded calmly.

After seven years of marriage, it wasn't the first or second time Louis had cheated.

The groom was very embarrassed, clearly not having anticipated this situation.

"Sister-in-law, you're here. Please, sit down, make yourself at home."

I smiled at him politely, very grateful for his attempt to smooth things over.

My designated seat was already occupied, but the uninvited guest had Louis's protection.

Louis glanced at me and said casually:

"Your seat is taken, find another one."

Years of submitting had deeply ingrained obedience into my bones.

"Okay."

The moment I sat down, I felt the gazes around me become even more unrestrained.

The groom was very apologetic, and before leaving, he even asked his family to take good care of me.

Compared to Louis, even he cared more about my feelings.

The wedding began as scheduled. The bride wore the wedding dress I had designed, walking down the red carpet I had chosen. She was marrying into the happiness I never had.

Everything was exactly as I had dreamed.

The young girl on Louis's arm was very young, with an innocent and lively expression.

"I heard from Louis that you're very good at flower arranging, Eliza. Could you make me a bouquet like the one the bride is holding?"

The atmosphere instantly froze. The others at the table looked at each other, not daring to speak.

I put down my chopsticks and instinctively looked at Louis.

Louis affectionately patted the young girl's head, then jerked his chin at me, commanding:

"What are you waiting for? Go quickly!"

Meeting his mocking gaze, I smiled with resignation.

I stood up, pushing back my chair, and turned to walk out of the hall.

"Be quick about it," Louis added.

I didn't respond, nor did I stop walking.

From the venue to the hotel entrance, from the hotel entrance to the street. Not once did I look back.

The family driver was gone, so I simply continued walking along the street.

Passing a trash can, I took off the red-soled high heels on my feet and threw them in.

The moment my bare feet touched the ground, it felt as if even the shackles on my body had completely disappeared.

After seven years of marriage, I finally felt grounded.

As soon as I got home, Louis called.

"How long does it take you to make a bouquet? Don't you know someone is waiting for you?"

I found it amusing and replied simply:

"I never agreed to make a bouquet."

"Also, I'm already home."

Hearing this, Louis scoffed:

"Eliza Howard, have you grown bolder?"

"Yes," I answered, contrary to his expectations.

The breathing on the other end of the phone quickened for two seconds, and Louis laughed angrily.

"Fine, Eliza. You've got guts."
